These are the floating stones of Lord Ram which found in the sea near Rameshwaram, what else needed to prove his existence.

How did you know that those are the the stones taken from the past. They might be formed by some chemicals in the recent years?
ReplyDeleteeven if these stones aer floating stones and even if they are the same stones (which is impossible) even so why do you worship it? it is just a stone for God's sake.

@anonymous: even if they are same (which is impossible), did u check its carbon date? And why do we worship it, we worship it because it is a memorial for us to tell that yes, RAMA was here, HE is here, and HE will be here, because HE is the one who starts and ends..
Any object floats in any liquid when the weight of the liquid, displaced by the fraction of the object immersed in the liquid, is equal to the entire weight of the object itself. Thus the fraction of the object immersed in the liquid depends on the relative densities of object and the liquid. For example when ice floats in water, approximately 90% of the volume of ice is immersed in water and only 10% remains outside water. ( An uneducated person would also be amazed to see a "hard object "like ice floating in a "soft material" like water .)
ReplyDeleteThese stones might be special in the sense that they might be hollow from inside. They may have some air cavities inside them, so that the weight of the water displaced by them is more than their own weight. These air cavities need not be uniformly located inside these stones. Hence they float !!

If and if people believe that Existence of lord Ram is not fictitious, then they are intelligent enough to use these stones. But don't feel so surprised it is not at all magic.. Even u & me can make these stones float
